DirtyVine

DTC

DirtyVine is a destination for wine the way it should be: simple ingredients, fresh from the vine, free from chemicals, preservatives, and the rest. More than a wine club, it’s a place to discover beverages that reflect and respect the planet, and the people that make them. While slow-grown is the name of the game with DirtyVine, when their founder asked us to brand the venture, we couldn’t say yes fast enough. The delightful engagement that followed spanned strategy, identity, website, packaging, and more.

BRAND positioning

Hand picked just for you

Our work with DirtyVine started where all good stories do—at the roots. We developed a refreshingly unpretentious brand that centers the winemakers and celebrates the simple things: the sun, the dirt, and the delight of earthly ingredients at their simplest. We brought it all together with a rebelliously joyful brand idea: Bottled Sunshine.

BRAND identity

An organic and delicious identity

We brought the brand position to life with an identity that feels both modern and rooted in nature. Vibrant colors, perfectly imperfect illustrations, and a quick-witted voice—the brand captures the simple pleasures of great friends with great wine enjoyed in whatever glass you have in your hand. In the spirit of good times with friends, we brought on our friend and lettering legend, Jessica Hische, to get the hand-drawn wordmark just right.

Website & Brand Experience

A home for the new and natural

Like the wine they source, we wanted the DirtyVine experience to feel thoughtfully crafted from top to bottom. That meant creating marketing materials that invite people to pause, a website that intuitively guides to the bottle shop and beyond, and packaging that playfully celebrates the final unboxing. We were proud to support it all, handing off our website designs and copy to the amazing team at Baggy Studio who brought their own thoughtful craft and care to the build.

"Goodside is fantastic and Jessica and Danielle are an absolute pleasure to work with!  They are enthusiastic partners who work through concepts, review the competitive landscape, establish the brand tone, identity, and visual design, and set you up for success moving forward with everything from brand collateral to future development partners.  We love Goodside!"
